Mr. Bobby Maxwell Hartzog, age 81, died Tuesday July 10, 2012 at the Henry County Health and Rehabilitation Facility following a brief illness.

Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home of Dothan is in charge of Cremation Services.  The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Edwin United Methodist Church, c/o Mrs. Polly Covington, 105 McSwean Drive, Abbeville, AL. 36310.

Mr. Hartzog was born on January 22, 1931 in Eufaula the son of the late Eugene and Eleanor Creel Hartzog.  He worked for several years with West Point Stevens in Abbeville and also farmed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Peggy Scott.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Barry Watford, Dothan; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Jean and Jack Turner, Dothan; three grandchildren, Kerri K. Money, Kenton Killebrew (Haley) and Kyle Killebrew; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
