Mr. Bobby Peacock of Augusta, GA but formally of Malvern and Dothan passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013.  He was 63. 


A Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 21, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. 


Bobby was born on August 29, 1949 in Houston County to the late Buford C. and Onelia Davis Peacock.  He lived most of his life in the Dothan area where he held various jobs before meeting the love of his life, Judith Karch, and relocating to Augusta, GA where he resided for ten years.  He was employed with Cracker Barrel as the Night Maintenance Manager and was also a certified Hypnotist. 


In addition to his parents, his eldest brother, Hubert Peacock preceded him in death. 


Survivors include two sisters: Judy Hendrix (Roger Dale) Slocomb and Rita Gilley (Roger Dale) Wicksburg; one brother, Radford Peacock (Jean), Malvern; fiancée, Judith  Karch, Augusta, GA; three aunts: Katy Goad, Malvern, Mary McCommon, Dothan and Betty Peacock, Campleton, FL; several nieces and nephews who loved and respected “Uncle Bobby”; and his special canine companion, Scooter. 


The family would like to express the sincere appreciation to Dr. Peggy Atkins, University Hospital and Hospice Advantage for the kindness and care given to Bobby during his illness.
