Mr. Carter Benton Hamm, age 74, of Louisville, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Ozark Health and Rehab in Ozark, Alabama following a brief illness.

 

Funeral Services for Mr. Hamm will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Louisville Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Baker and Rev. Tim Calloway officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. Burial will follow in the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayton, Alabama. All social distance and mask guidelines will be followed.

 

Mr. Hamm was born April 20, 1946 in Louisville, Alabama the son of Browder Benton Hamm and Nellie Jean Baker Hamm. Mr. Hamm was a graduate of Louisville High School and was a member of Louisville Baptist Church where he loved singing in the choir. Mr. Hamm was employed at Keystone in Bakerhill, Alabama until his retirement.

 

Mr. Hamm is preceded in death by his parents.

 

Survivors include: sister, Barbara Tew of Louisville; nephew, Kevin Tew (Delena Crugar) of Louisville; aunt, Bertha Baker; great-niece, Keri Risden; great-nephew, JaKolby Maddox and several cousins.
