Mr. Cecil H. Barton of Westville, Florida, of the New Hope Community, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the age of 87.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Cecil was born December 22, 1932 in Holmes County Florida to the late Erza Lee and Lois Jeanette Stripling Barton.  He was an avid fisherman, and retired from Ft. Rucker, Alabama where he was an aircraft mechanic.  Cecil was a family man, loving his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, very active in the community and a member of the Etna Lodge in New Hope.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Eura Dell Barton and two brothers; Dewey Barton and Lee Barton.

He is survived by his sons; Ricky H. Barton, Geneva, AL, Dickey H. Barton (Janis) Bonifay, FL, Kenneth L. Barton (Rhonda) Bonifay, FL, six grandchildren; Chase Barton, Tonya Amerson, Chad Barton, Matt Barton, Justin Barton and Josh Barton, fifteen great-grandchildren, one sister; Ruth Matthews (James) Westville, FL one brother; Ed Barton (Dorothy) Geneva, AL, and a sister-in-law; Gail Johnson Barton.
