   Mr. Cecil Glenwood Pyle, a resident of Ozark, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022. He was 86 years old.


   Funeral services for Mr. Pyle will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, September 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Dr. Dennis Tew officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.


   The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P. M.


   Mr. Pyle was born October 23, 1935 in Kitzmiller, Maryland to the late Cecil Calvert Pyle and Virginia Lake Warnick Pyle. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated Cecil’s American Service Station for over forty years. Cecil was an avid hunter and enjoyed working in his garden.


   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alverda Lancaster and Kathleen Brinkman.


   Survivors include his wife, Nellie Ann Marie Jordan Pyle of Ozark; two sons, Glenn Pyle (Melinda) of Ozark and David Elliote (Beth) of Jacksonville, NC; three daughters, Tana Lawrence (Klell) of Enterprise, Pamela Bell (David) of Ozark and Theresa Larson (John) of Ozark; one sister, Peggy Delores Tasker of Walnut Bottom, MD; one brother, John Allen Pyle of Atwater, OH; grandchildren, John Allen Pyle (Lindsay), Glenn Allen Pyle, Jr., Tiffany Nicole Pyle (Michael), Haley Marie Hagler (Nick), Celeste Laminda Bell, Drew Elliote, Brett Elliote, Eli Elliote, Katalina Elliote, Joe Elliote, Giovanna Elliote; five great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
