OZARK…Mr. Charles Joseph Long, a resident of Ozark, died late Saturday evening, July 22, 2023, at his home. He was 64.

            In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Long, son of the late Charles Joseph Long and Mildred Long, was a native of Manchester, Vermont and has lived in Ozark for the past thirty-five years. He was formerly employed as a chef with LA Seafood, D & D Steakhouse, and Our Place Diner. Mr. Long was preceded in death by a son, Jason Long.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Martha Jean Beach; a daughter, Deanna Long; four sons, Kevin Long, David Long, Joseph Long, and Josh Long; two sisters, Patricia Casey (Mike) and Sue Perry (Mark); a brother, Richard Long (Colleen); twenty three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
