Mr. Charles William Beasley, a resident of Louisville, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old.


Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayton, Alabama. Reverend Don Highland will officiate with Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing.


Charles was born July 8, 1945, in Louisville, Alabama the son of William Clinton Beasley and Myrtice Helms Beasley. He graduated Louisville High School in 1963 was a lifelong resident of Louisville. Charles served his country in the National Guard for six years. He was employed as a supervisor for Van Heusen Clayton plant for 25 years and also worked for the Ozark plant, A-1 Manufacturing, Slawson Lumber, HBG, and 12 years at the Barbour County Board of Education, retiring in 2018.


Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Deborah Maxwell Beasley.


Survivors include his son, Chad Beasley, Gonzalez, LA; daughter, Melissa Barkley (Chris), Wetumpka; two step-daughters, Beverly Spivey (Keith), Louisville, Dixie Maxwell, Webb; brother, Carl Beasley (Debbie), Wetumpka; two sisters, Peggy Herring, Louisville, Patsy McKinnon (Jim), Clio; two grandchildren, Logan Bozeman, Lakin Bozeman; four step grandchildren, Drew Spivey (Jessica), Jodie Spivey, Blakley King (Tyler), Maggie Lavonia; two step great- grandchildren, Tate King, Kase King; nine nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and one great-great nephew.


Active pallbearers will be Braxton Green, Mike McCraney, Larry Harrison, Stan Adams, Tucker Beasley, and Greg Herring.


Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Parker, Jimmy Grant, Mike Arrington, Keith Spivey, and George Dewey Currie.


In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.


The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kristin Bonner of Kindred Hospice and Peggy McCrae for their loving care of Mr. Beasley.
