OZARK... Mr. Claude Thomas Shorter (Sergeant First Class, United States Army, Retired), a resident of Fairmont, West Virginia, died early Thursday morning, July 8, 2021 in Dale Medical Center. He was 72.

            Funeral services and burial will be handled by Carpenter-Ford Funeral Home in Fairmont, West Virginia. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
