Craig Larry Burk, a resident of Cottonwood, Alabama died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 2, 2022, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was 52.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022, in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Campbell officiating and Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Craig was born to Larry and Patsy Hasty Burk on November 27, 1969. He was a 1988 graduate of Cottonwood High School. Craig was a welder by trade. He was a very diligent worker who oversaw all operations for Spring Creek Farm for many years. In his spare time, you could find him either hunting or fishing. His favorite past time was listening to the radio. Craig was a loving son, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his family and making lasting memories. Craig never met a stranger and would literally give you the shirt off his back. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Left to cherish his memories is his mother and father; two children, Josh Burk (Shelby), and Keri Prince (Austin); two sisters, Kim Barker (Keith), and Karla Hatcher; three grandchildren, Weston Prince, Mary Charles Burk, and one on the way; his former wife of 34 years, Candy Burk; his fiancée, Barbara Welch; special friends, Jeffrey and Krystal James; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
