ECHO COMMUNITY…Mr. Dan Henderson, a resident of the Echo Community, near Ozark, died early Monday morning, November 15, 2021, in Buena Vista, Georgia. He was 74.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 22, 2021, in Pinckard Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Matt Sasser officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

            Mr. Henderson, son of the late Daniel Lamar Henderson, II and Jeanette Beasley Henderson, was a native of Houston County. He moved to Columbus, Georgia at an early age and was a graduate of Columbus State College. Mr. Henderson later moved to Las Vegas in 1973 and was an Executive Chef at the Gold Nugget Casino until his retirement. He moved to the Echo Community, near Ozark in 2010. Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Henderson.

            Surviving relatives include a brother, Bobby Henderson (Myra), Ozark; two nieces, Victoria Henderson and Savannah Pregno (Gage); step-daughter, Mary Batkayeva, Philadelphia, PA.
