Mr. Daniel Brown Thetford, age 71, of Dothan, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 8, 2024.

Born October 10, 1952 in Dothan to the late Buster Brown Thetford and Rachel Murchison Thetford, Daniel was a graduate of Samford University. He enjoyed all types of sports including Alabama football. He also enjoyed toiling in his yard, his Bi-Annual poker game and he was a member of the Elks Lodge.

Daniel is survived by his son, Byron Thetford (Danielle Miller); his grandchildren, Ellis Thetford and Fitz Thetford; his sister, Brownie Padgett (Young); a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
