Daniel Keith McNeal, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 54.



A celebration of life service will be held at 5PM, Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 4PM to 5PM at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his honor to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.



Born and reared in Dothan, Alabama before moving to Lake Seminole in 1996. He was a member of Dothan Masonic Lodge #466. Keith was a Carpenter by trade. His hobbies included saltwater fishing, watching Alabama Football “Roll Tide”, and spending time with his family, who he loved deeply. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.



He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy Brooks and Mamie Mae McNeal; maternal grandparents, James Amos and Pearlie McCollough Kornegay.



He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Danielle McNeal Mowbray (Levi);  his parents, Rena Kornegay Harrison (Jimmy) and Danny Brooks McNeal (Joyce); two brothers, Brain McNeal (Geri) and Terry Harrison; four grandchildren, Carter, Emily, Madison, and Noah; two sisters, Angie Johnson (Doug) and Tina Harrison; two nephews, Kaleb McNeal (Kimberly) and Clayton Johnson; one niece, Kaylee McNeal and many friends.



Honorary Pallbearers are Gary Turner, Robby Adams, Keith Kirkland, Dave Preston, Ricky Linville and Randy Linville.



The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice for their wonderful care, as well as a special thanks to his dear cousins, Rhonda and Daphne.
