   Mr. Daniel Lee Hill, a resident of Newville, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023. He was 58 years old. A private family memorial for Mr. Hill will be held at a later date.

   Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.

   Mr. Hill was born June 24, 1964 in Northfield, New Hampshire where he was a 1983 graduate of Winnisquam High School. He joined the United States Army and was assigned to Army Air Assault and was deployed to Honduras to fight in the war on drugs. Dan was a Mechanic Specialist. He later moved to Newville and purchased a pecan farm. He enjoyed organizing charitable events and loved to “tinker”. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and New England Patriots fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon L. Hill and one brother, Jeffrey Lee Hill.

   Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Shelly Martin Hill of Newville; one daughter, Cynthia Lee Warren (Christopher) of Loudon, New Hampshire; one son, Daniel Lee Hill Jr. of Epsom, New Hampshire; his mother, Mrs. Sharon Wiggin Hill of Laconia, New Hampshire; one grandson, Brycen Lee Hill; nieces, Erin Hill and Jackie Butterworth (Adam); nephews, Hunter Lee Hill and Guy Lee Hill; fur babies, Percilla, Gaia, Remington and Sampson.
