Danny L. Harden, of Slocomb, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at the age of 69.

Born September 12, 1952 in Dothan, Alabama to Merle Brooks Harden and the late Ben Hill Harden. Danny was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed coon hunting and having flawless luck fishing with a .99 cent fishing lure. He also prided himself on knowing what a coon dog wanted just by the way it howled. Danny will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Due to COVID-19, there will be a private memorial service.  

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Ben Hill Harden.

In addition to his mother, Merle Brooks Harden; he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda Harden; daughters, Dacia Richardson (Clay) and Jennifer Freeman (Tommy); son, Jonathan Harden; grandchildren, Rhiannon Freeman, Brianne Kidder, Tori Woods, Tobi Woods, and Elijah Harden; great-granddaughter, Kaia James Kidder; brother, Donald Harden (Mary); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and special friends.
