Dennis LaDon “Pee Wee” Womack, a resident of Cottonwood, Alabama died Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 58.


Funeral Services will be held at 10AM, Monday, May 10, 2021 at Howard Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Lanley officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service in the church cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM Sunday, May 9, 2021 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home.


Pee Wee was born to the late Reuben LaDon Womack and Sandra Ann Miller Womack on March 25, 1963 in Cottonwood, Alabama. He was a lifelong resident of Cottonwood, graduating from Cottonwood High School in 1981. He was an avid outdoorsman as a hunter and fisherman. His favorite hobby was cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturdays in the fall, “Roll Tide”. He loved his family dearly as a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He will be dearly missed.


Pee Wee was preceded in death by his father.


Survivors include his mother; two sons, Devin Womack and Wesley Clark; two brothers, Dewayne Womack (Johnnie) and Dereck Womack (Heather); one sister, Denise Lobsinger; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.


The family would like to thank two special care givers, Tangela Ryan and Kathy Harden for the love, support, and special care they gave Pee Wee, as well as Kindred Hospice for their love and support.
