Obituary: Mr. Derwin Lee Swick

 

Mr. Derwin Lee Swick of Dothan passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at his home.  He was 51.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Rich officiating, Ben Amlong delivering the Eulogy and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 and continue until service time.

 

Mr. Swick was born on February 4, 1961 in Ocala, FL to  Floyd Paul and Eurydice Terry Swick.

 

He was preceded in death by two brothers:  Terry Wilson Swick and Kenneth Duane Swick

 

Survivors include his wife, Janet Kay Swick of Dothan; one son,  Justin Lamar Schumpert of Myrtle Beach as well as his parents and many friends.
