DALEVILLE…Mr. Dock Virgil Patterson, a resident of Daleville, died early Saturday evening, October 8, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, at the home of his grandson. He was 87.

            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the home of his grandson, 111 Forest Drive, Daleville. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Patterson, son of the late Joseph Curtis Patterson and Hattie Mae Stapleton Patterson, was a native of Fleming, Kentucky. He moved to Daleville in 1956 following his service in the United States Army. In earlier years, Mr. Patterson was employed with Hayes Aircraft at Napier Field as a painter. He retired as owner and operator of a painting business. Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Grace Patterson; son, James Wendell Patterson.

            Surviving relatives include his brother, Benjamin Patterson (Mary), Tennessee; grandchildren, Daniel Patterson, Joshua Patterson (Christy), Jonah Patterson (Ashley), and Amanda Hudson (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Chris Hudson, Braxton Sheppard, Savannah Patterson (Charlie), Christopher Dorrill, Jordan Patterson (Shawniee), Levi Hudson, Brennen Patterson, Makayla Patterson, Chase Hudson, Grayson Patterson, Dearl Patterson, and Gabriel Patterson; numerous friends and cousins.
