Donald Louis Wood Jr. of Dothan died early morning on March 10, 2021.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Malvern Baptist Church.
Don was born May 27, 1973, in Taegu, South Korea to the late Donald Louis Wood and Tok Cha Wood. He was raised on military bases in the United States and Germany until he was 12 years old. Don moved to Dothan at age 14, he was a graduate of Dothan High School, class of ’91. Don enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1992 and quickly achieved the rank of Sergeant. He proudly served for 13 years.
He married Karen Hendrix Wood in 1992. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.
Don is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Karen and three sons, Dillan (Peyton), Dawson, and Michael; two grandchildren, Paisleigh, and Miles; his mother, Tok Cha Wood; his sister, Janet Harwood (Delaine); a loving father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Roger and Judy and Hendrix. He also leaves his faithful and loyal dog, Spencer.
