OZARK… Mr. Earl Rodney “Rooster” Cupit, Jr., a resident of Ozark, died Monday evening, October 11, 2021, in the emergency room of Dale Medical Center. He was 60.


            Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, October 16, 2021, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. Friday until time to depart for services at funeral home, at the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, near Ozark.


            Mr. Cupit, son of the late Earl Rodney Cupit, Sr. and Lela Ruth Warren Cupit, was a native of Oklahoma. He formerly lived in Louisiana before moving to the Ozark area in 2005. Mr. Cupit was self employed in the underground utilities industry. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Mr. Cupit was a proud member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, Dothan Chapter. He was a true blue 1% er, who would do anything for his brothers at the drop of a hat. He will be sorely missed by his brothers in the Dothan Chapter and the Outlaw Nation. Mr. Cupit was preceded in death by two children, Beth Spurgeon and Chad Belzer; sister, Wendy Cupit.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Sherri M. Cupit, Ozark; son, James Arnold, Clayton, GA; sister, Karen Meredith (Jamie), Alexandria, LA; five grandchildren, Brittany Belzer, Eric Belzer, Taylor Belzer, Anna Arnold, and Wendy Spurgeon; two great-grandchildren; several cousins.
