Mr. Elton L. Burke of Dothan passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at the age of 73.

The family will receive friends at their home and also at Ward Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M. Flowers will be accepted

Mr. Burke was born October 11, 1949 to the late Lafayette and Pauline Burke. He was a quiet and gentle man who loved going to the beach and going to Biloxi. He worked 29 years for GTE. He loved to be with his family.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Terri Lynn Hudspeth, granddaughter Sabina Hartley-Burke and brothers Earl and Don Burke.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Jennifer Burke, son Jimmy Mark Burke (Judy), grandchildren Jessica Luloff, Lynsey Hudspeth, great-granddaughter Madalynn Bishop, Goddaughter Heather Leslie, sister Dewana Daughtery (Garland), sisters-in-law Brenda Eldridge (Phil), Pat Carr, Gwen Burke, Helen Burke Ryals and daughter Sheree Blackmon(Mitchell) and family.
