OZARK… Mr. Errand “Cat Daddy” Hobbs, a resident of Ozark, died early Saturday morning, February 25, 2023, at his home. He was 55.


            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery in Arguta. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mr. Hobbs was born September 10, 1967, in Ozark and was a 1985 Graduate of Ariton High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was formerly employed with Utility Trailers in Enterprise. Mr. Hobbs was also a painter for over twenty years. He was an avid outdoorsman and University of Alabama football fan. Mr. Hobbs was baptized at Post Oak Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Houston “Hootie” Hobbs and a granddaughter, Ashlynne Lakota Clark.


            Surviving relatives include three daughters, Dakota Lynn Hobbs, Savannah Nicole Hobbs, and Bailey Cheyenne Hobbs; his son, Tristian Shelby Hobbs (Melinda); mother, Nancy Ann Childree Hobbs; father, Murel Lynn Hobbs; two sisters, Nancy Marie Burns, and Louise Marie Richardson (Rusty Powell),  all of Ozark; grandchildren, Jacoby Tidwell, Jackson Clark, James Moore, Lovanna Culver, Timothy Culver, Shakur Hobbs, and Sylas Hobbs; nieces and nephews, D.J. Richardson (Ashley) and his children, Louis and Daelyn.
