OZARK… Mr. Garry Grantham, a resident of Ozark, died Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2022, at his home. He was 67.


            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2022, in the New Hope Baptist Church in the Bertha Community with Reverend Bill Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the church. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Healing Hands Animal Hospital, 657 W. Roy Parker Road, Ozark, AL 36360.


            Mr. Grantham, son of the late Jack Jerry Grantham and Sheila Faye Garrett Grantham, was a native of Enterprise. He was a 1972 Graduate of Enterprise High School and was a graduate of University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Grantham attended Auburn University and was an avid Auburn Football fan having attended well over 320 games. Mr. Grantham was retired due to disability from the Butler County Commission as the Butler County Engineer. He moved to Ozark following his parents’ death in 2010. Mr. Grantham was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Grantham.      


            Surviving relatives include his brother, Wayne Grantham (Patty), Athens, AL; niece and nephew, Emma Grantham and Patrick Grantham; his aunts, Sarie Ready (Jerry), Bertha Community, Sue Quick, Madison, FL, Betty Nabors, Jasper, AL, Pat Walker (Estus), Ozark, and Ethel Kranzer (Herme), Baker, FL; several cousins also survive.
