Mr. Gregory Kenneth Avant of Kinston, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the age of 46.

 Graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Brenda Jones officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be at the Funeral Home Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

 The family asks that visitors please wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing.

 Gregory was born February 21,1975 in Geneva, Alabama to Richard Kenneth Avant and the late Margaret Jeanette Jones Avant.  He was a loving son and nephew, loved being around all his family and friends.  He loved working with computers, as a child he loved dinosaurs and riding his four wheeler.

 Preceded in death: Mother: Margaret Jeanette Jones Avant, grandparents; Welcome and Richardine Avant and Alcus and Annie Lou Jones.

 Survived by his father: Kenneth Avant; Aunts and Uncles: Patricia & Joe Avant; Faye and Doug Avant; Nell & Tim Griffin; Larry & Tammy Jones and Brenda Jones; and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers:  Brian Reid, Dawson Reid, John  Rushing, Jim Jones, Trace Archie, Shawn Donaldson, Tim Jones and Justin Jones.
