Herbert Comer Ezell, of Geneva, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. He was 82 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Oak Grove Pentecostal Ministries with Rev. Tracy Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 p.m., until service time, at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Comer Jackson Ezell and Mattie Lee Howell; two sisters, Willa Dean Nickoloff and Jackie George.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruvene; three daughters, Robin (Tony) Ellenburg, Ramono (Marty) Curry, and Rachel Ezell; five grandchildren, Beverly (Zach) Gray, Daimen (Makala) Ellenburg, Melissa Ellenburg Raschke, Erin Curry, and Kara Curry; 2 great grandchildren, Liam Raschke and Nora Ellenburg; along with many nieces and nephews.
