Howard Franklin Lee, 81, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at First Christian Church of Dothan, Alabama with Reverend Bill Smith officiating and Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 1401 N. Cherokee Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303 or to Hospice Advantage, 3245 Montgomery Hwy Suite 8, Dothan, Alabama 36303.
Mr. Lee was born April 25, 1933 a son of the late Carlton and Erna Lammon Lee. He worked as a Draftsman in the Aerospace Engineering industry and was also a District Manager with MAC Tool Company prior to his retirement. He served his country during the Korean War in the U. S. Navy and is a member of the First Christian Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Lee.
Surviving are his wife, Margie Dean Pearce Lee, Dothan, Alabama; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Jere Adcock, Decatur, Alabama; three grandchildren, Riley, Jordan and Marah Adcock; two great grandchildren, Treyce and Kanaan; special caregivers, Joyce Hightower and Constance Davis and all others with Hospice Advantage.
