OZARK…. Jackie O. Sanders, a resident of Ozark, died early Tuesday evening, September 15, 2020 at his home. He was 67.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 19, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Floyd Ingram officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

            Jackie, son of the late Ozen Sanders and Lucille Braswell Sanders, was a native and lifelong resident of Ozark. He attended Vivian B. Adams School in Ozark and was an excellent Domino player. Jackie was also known as the “Pool Shark” of Ozark. He was an avid University of Alabama fan and enjoyed watching W.W.E. Wrestling. Jackie was preceded in death by his brother, Bo Sanders and a nephew, Josh Lee Sanders.

            Surviving relatives include his sister, Ramona J. Gardner, Ozark; sister-in-law, Debbie Sanders, Midland City; four brothers, Roger Sanders (Lynn Smith), Rex Sanders, Reggie Sanders, Timmy O. Sanders, all of Ozark; nephews, Bruce Sammuli and Roger Ozen Sanders, both of Ozark; great-niece and great-nephew, Klarissa Sammuli and Dacoda McConnell; aunts and uncles, Martha Loper (Al), Ozark, Judy Lawrence (Barry), Echo Community, Ed Sanders (Glenda), Ozark, Ruby Ezell (Larry), Ozark and Linda Hopper (Jim), Salisbury, NC.
