Mr. James Kimmey “Jamie” Russ of Geneva, Alabama passed away Wednesday, September 8,2021 at the age of 46.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021, in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama with the Rev. Robin Blackburn officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time.

Jamie was born December 9, 1974, in Elba Alabama to Archie Russ and the late Ann Odom Russ.  He was a loving Daddy and Peepaw.  Hunting and fishing was a way of life.  He was a hard worker, his smile would light up the room, a determination and resilience like no other.

Preceded in death by his mother and one brother: John Russ.

Survived by his children; Aaron Mims (Seth Mims), Samson, AL; Justin Russ, Geneva, AL; Wife; LaKeisha Russ, Geneva, AL; bonus children; Keala Bolin and Coltin Bolin, Geneva, AL; Father: Archie Russ, Brantley, AL; brother; Joey Russ (Jennifer) Andalusia, AL; sister-in-law; Lynn Russ, Dozier, AL; grandchild: Renly Mims, Samson, AL, numerous nieces and nephews and his canine companion Moose “the killer” Russ.
