Mr. James T. “Jimmy” Barnes of Coffee Springs passed away Saturday, February 08, 2020. He was 63 years old.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 11,2020 at Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama with Rev. Tim Beasock officiating. Burial will follow at Eden Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time. Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made to the Eden Baptist Church Cemetery fund in his memory.

 Jimmy was born December 24, 1956 to the late Joseph M., Jr. and Martha Frances Robbins Barnes. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed farming, especially driving a tractor and baling hay. He was a member of Eden Baptist Church.

 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Don Monk.

 Jimmy is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Chris Medley of Coffee Springs; two brothers, Wayne Barnes and his wife Pam, of Oxford, GA and Kenny Barnes of Coffee Springs; several special nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
