JD Adams, 96, of Geneva, died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Wiregrass Nursing Home following a long illness.
He leaves his wife of over 50 years, Cleo Davidson Adams, of Geneva; a daughter, Delores Adams, of Florida; three stepsons, Bobby (Wanda) Nowling, Gene (Julie) Nowling, all of Geneva, and Robert Nowling, of Texas; several grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

Mr. Adams served in the US Navy, and was a World War II veteran. After his military service, he settled in Houston, Texas, and worked as a general contractor, before returning to Geneva when he retired. He enjoyed woodworking and he and his wife, Cleo, were avid gardeners.
In accordance with Mr. Adams' express wishes, no services will be held.
