Mr. Jerry Elbert Richardson of Geneva, Alabama passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the age of 74.

Graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Poplar Head Cemetery  with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  Visitation will be held Saturday, January 2 from 5p.m. until 7 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral home in Geneva, Alabama.

Jerry was born in the Fairview Community on May 14, 1946 to the late Elbert Lee and Molly E Mullins Richardson.  In his younger years he was a truck driver, had a passion for drag racing and building muscle cars.  He later became an auto mechanic and retired after 40 years of service.  Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather and cared for his family dearly.  He loved his dogs and they were part of his family.

Preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Charles and Ronald Richardson and one granddaughter; Maddison Allie Richardson.

Survived by his wife of 47 years; Betty Richardson, Geneva, AL; Three sons: Jerry Michael Richardson, Geneva, AL; Timothy Paul Owens(Regina), Enterprise, AL; and Ronney Lee Richardson, Geneva, AL; 4 Grandchildren: Terry Lee Meredith, Kaylee Page Richardson, Ashtyn Breannah Richardson and Anthony Wilson Owens; 2 brothers; Coy D Richardson and Marshall Richardson; 2 sisters; Bonnie Bedsole and Joyce Weeks.
