Mr. Jerry Wayne Hyde, age 79, of Dothan passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

Jerry was born June 24, 1941 in Mississippi to the late O. B. Hyde and Jewel Lewis Hyde. Jerry served his country in the United States Air Force, serving in the Vietnam and Korean Wars. He later retired from the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing golf.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Hyde.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Sandra Hyde; his daughter, Tabitha Hyde; his granddaughter, Jessica Haag; his brothers, Larry Hyde and Jim Hyde; his sisters, Joyce Hyde Tollett, Mary Hyde, and Elizabeth Hyde Holland; numerous other relatives and friends.

No local services are scheduled and a burial in Mississippi will be held at a later date.
