Obituary: Mr. Jesse LaDon Strickland

 

Mr. Jesse LaDon Strickland of Slocomb passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at his home. He was 58.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Hosea Parker officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

 

Mr. Strickland was born July 4, 1962 in Geneva County to the late Jesse Carlton and Alma Collins Strickland.

 

In addition to his parents, sister, Verlon Strickland Spivey, and brother, Jimmy Strickland preceded him in death.

 

Survivors include daughters: Heather Strickland Phillips (Justin), Baylee Strickland Rogers (Tyler), and Anabeth Strickland; sister, Peggy Hall (James); brother, Jerry Strickland (Katherine); numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
