Mr. Jimmy Franklin Williams of Samson, Alabama passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at the age of 55.

 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Doty, Bro. Dion McCormick and Bro. Dustin Wise officiating, with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be held Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until funeral service time.

 

Jimmy was born July 6, 1966, in Geneva, Alabama to the late Roger Gilmore Williams and Shirley Jean Jones Bowdin. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

 

Preceded in death by his father and stepmother; Roger and Sandra Williams; Grandmother and Grandfather, Lorene “Doc” & John Malvin Williams, Coot & Nancy Jones and Uncle, Roland Jones.

 

Survived by his daughter; Ashlea Williams (Mikey), Black, AL; one grandson on the way; Ja’Micheal Brown II; Mother; Shirley Jones Bowdin (Don), Canton, GA; one sister; Kim Williams Henderson (Skip), Hampton, GA; step-brother; Kris Bowdin, Samson, AL very special and devoted aunt and niece; Ree Davis and Reann Davis, Samson, AL; mother of his daughter; Kathy Williams and a number of nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.
