Obituary: Mr. J.M. Mauldin

 

Mr. J.M. Mauldin of Hartford passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his home. He was 93. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Bro. Phil Baxley and Bro. Phil Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave. Dothan, AL 36303

Mr. Mauldin was born February 16, 1929 in Pike County, AL to the late Samuel and Laura Wilson Mauldin. He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, going to church, gardening, and spending time with his family. J.M. retired from Alfab after many years. 

In addition to his parents, his daughter, Laura Pearl Mauldin; two sisters and eight brothers all preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Mary Mauldin; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
