Mr. John Edward Moring of Slocomb passed away Monday, November 7, 2011.  He was 62.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, in East Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 1590 Highway 173, Graceville, FL.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. 

Mr. Edward was born on December 26, 1948 in Geneva County, AL to the late John Dallas and Norma V. Hall Moring.  He was a member of East Mount Zion United Methodist Church. 

His parents as well as one sister, Brenda Moring, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Elaine Moring of Slocomb; one son:  Michael Moring (Angela) of Defuniak Springs, FL; one daughter:  Tracy Lynn Moring of Dothan; one step-son:  Charles Richard Farrell II (Stacey) of Albany, GA; two step-daughters:  Yvonne Soule (Bill) of Woodstock, GA, Jan Reynolds (Richard) of Concord, NC; one sister:  Faye Moring of Hartford; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
