 Mr. Joseph Leon Galloway



 Mr. Joseph Leon Galloway, of Ozark, passed away Saturday morning, June 25, 2022, in Dale Medical Center. He was 78.


   Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from the Holman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Nelson Hines officiating.


   The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 Tuesday evening.


   Mr. Galloway was born, February 12, 1944, to the late Oscar Wynn and Martha Miller Jacobs. He retired from the United States Navy after twenty years of service.


   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David Wynn and a grandson, Kamden Galloway.


   He is survived by a daughter, Donna Newburn (Wesley) of Citronelle; two sons, Joseph Galloway (Sheree) of Mobile and Donald Galloway (Mary) of Irvington. stepmother Maxine Wynn of Ozark. His sister Linda Wynn Post (Carl) of Owasso, Oklahoma; three brothers Robert Cary Wynn of Ozark; Edward Wynn (Kitty) of Kentucky; and Dale Wynn (Jeanne) of Valley. Eight grandchildren, Donald Galloway, Jr., Arion Weaver (Jasmine), Christian Galloway, Devyn Weaver, Jason Newburn, Kenner Galloway, Kamery Galloway, Hallie Paramore. Four great grandchildren, Kayden, Harlynn, Brinklee, and Kyler.


   In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Ozark-Dale County Humane Society P.O. Box 2502 Ozark, AL 36361.
