MONTGOMERY…Mr. Keith Franklin Sowell, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at his home. He was 60.

   Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East, in Abbeville, AL. Friends will assemble at the graveside. Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium & Memorial Gardens of Millbrook, AL will be directing with Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations in charge of local arrangements.

   Mr. Sowell was a member of the former Capital Heights United Methodist Church and retired from the State of Alabama Department of Transportation as an Engineer. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Franklin Sowell and Lottie Bailey Sowell Huntsman.

   He is survived by his sons Adam Sowell (Jo-Ellen) and Aaron Sowell (Jessica); his daughter, Annon Cooper (Blake); brother, Jeff Sowell; sister, Cecilia Howell (Clint); five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

   Serving as active pallbearers will be Adam Sowell, Aaron Sowell, Blake Cooper, Jeff Sowell, Clint Howell and Ward Chesser.
