LAFAYETTE, GEORGIA… Mr. Kenneth “Bouncer” Minton, a resident of Lafayette, Georgia (formerly of Ozark), died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in a Chattanooga, Tennessee Hospital. He was 54.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 1, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Sasser officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

            Mr. Minton, son of the late Kenneth Wayne Minton, Sr., and Dreama Ann Davidson Minton, was a native of Saltville, Virginia. He formerly lived in Dothan before moving to Lafayette, Georgia in 2006. Mr. Minton is currently employed with Van Horn Trucking as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa English Minton in December 2022 and a brother, Jeff Minton.

            Surviving relatives include his two daughters, Amber Hernandez (Enrique), Ozark and Vivian Barfield (Antonio), Lafayette, Georgia; two sisters, Michelle Sheppard and Dawn Minton; two brothers, Alvin Minton and Jamie Minton, all of Saltville, Virginia; four grandchildren, Makayla Hernandez, Alexia Hernandez, Cayden Brewington and Brayden Brewington.
