Mr. Lee Gerald Gifford, age 75, a resident of Clayton, died Thursday April 22, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.

 

Mr. Gifford was born June 22, 1945 in Syracuse, New York the son of Elihu Reed Gifford and Gladys May Whiting Gifford.  He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was a beautiful oil painting artist that enjoyed painting nature.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Survivors include son, Micheal Gifford (Tara) of Eufaula; daughter, Victoria Zehring of Monks Corner, SC; brother, Benjamin Franklin Gifford of Lake City, FL; seven grandchildren, Cassandra McDonald (Cody), Dale Morris, Cliff Morris, Crystal Morris, Collin Zehring, Abigail Belanger, and Aurora Belanger.
