Mr. Lewell Austin, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday, September 13, 2020, in Dale Medical Center.  He was 66 years old.

A private family memorial service for Mr. Austin will be held at a later date.  However,  condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com

Mr. Austin was born May 4, 1954 in Ozark, Alabama to the late James Gilbert Austin and Mary Martha Veal Austin. He was a graduate of Daleville High School and worked as a welder with Industrial Iron Works based in Millbrook, Alabama.  Mr. Austin was a strong-willed man who loved doing what he wanted.  He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and enjoyed going fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Valarie Austin of Slocomb, Alabama; two sons, Benjamin Barnes (Kathryn Nicole) of Barnes, Wisconsin and James Austin (Jessica) of Augusta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Barnes, James Barnes, Alice Austin and Sophia Austin; two brothers, Lane Austin of Glen Rose, Texas and Phillip Austin (Edna) of Columbia, Georgia.
