Mr. Lloyd Gordon Aldrich of Kinston passed away October 31, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. 


Memorialization will be by cremation. 


Mr. Aldrich was born June 16, 1937 in Michigan to the late Leslie Alvin and Viola Belle Young Aldrich. Lloyd retired as Sr. Chief Petty officer in the United States Navy. He later retired from General Motors. Mr. Aldrich was an outstanding husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. 


In addition to his parents, daughter, Peggy Denny; siblings: Robert Aldrich, Alberta Petree and Richard Aldrich all preceded him in death. 


Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Willie Belle Blackwell Aldrich; two daughters: Marleena Hoogerhyde (Jack), Kinston and Marschelle “Dana” Aldrich Butcher, Michigan ; son, Mark Aldrich (Daphnie), Andalusia; eight grandchildren: Zander Byron Ambrose Aldrich, Grayson Lloyd Aldrich, Addison Gordon Butcher, Jonathan  Ray Butcher, Samantha Mae Tahseen, Amanda Ray Rytlewski, Amber Bell Howell and Brandon Eugene Stafford;14 great-grandchildren: siblings, William Aldrich, Leo Aldrich, Sylvia Butcher, Marcy Wilson and Marie Ceja; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
