OZARK…Mr. Mark Starkey, a resident of Ozark, near Skipperville, died Friday morning, March 25, 2022, at his home. He was 67.


            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in the Cottonwood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.     


            Mr. Starkey, son of the late Alfred Starkey and Elizabeth Starkey, was a native of Dover, Delaware. He moved to Dothan in 2000 and currently living in Ozark, near Skipperville. Mr. Starkey was retired from the State of Florida Department of Corrections as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Jackson County Corrections. He was preceded in death by his partner, James Michael Bryan.


            Surviving relatives include his children, Kriston Starkey, Maryland, Adam Starkey, Middletown, DE, Cori Baker (Jesse), Skipperville, Seth Bryan (Misty), Cottonwood, and Adam Bryan, Edgewood, NM; a sister, Nancy Clements, Middletown, DE; grandchildren, Addison Starkey, Able Starkey, Connor Baker, Wyatt Baker, Lily Bryan, Gabe Bryan, and Miranda Bryan.
