Mason Kermit Andrews Jr, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Friday, November 25, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 81.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2PM, Sunday, November 27, 2022, in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral home with Pastor Bruce Barber officiating and Southern Heritage directing.


Mason was born to the late Mason and Maude Napier Andrews on July 7, 1941 in Ozark, Alabama. He was a lifelong resident  of the wiregrass area, retiring after 42 years at Pemco. His hobbies included reading and watching the History Channel. Most Saturdays in the fall you could find him cheering on his Auburn Tigers “War Eagle”. Mason was a loving husband of 39 years to Theresa Glover Andrews. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. His most precious times was making lasting memories with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.


He is preceded in death by his parents.


Left to cherish his memories are his wife; two sons, Tony Andrews (Jeanie) and David Andrews (Gale); one daughter, Lori King; four grandchildren, Dawn Andrews, Miguel Andrews, Dillon Andrews, and Christopher Andrews; four great grandchildren, Isabella, Aubrey, Camdin, and Raylan; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
