SLOCOMB…. Mr. Michael Nowicki, a resident of Slocomb, near Fadette, died Sunday morning, May 19, 2019 at his home. He was 67.

            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 23, 2019 in the Imanuel Bible Church, 5462 CR 28, Slocomb, with Reverend Cooper Totten officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the church.

            Memorial contributions may be made to, Wiregrass Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Dothan, AL 36302.

            Mr. Nowicki, son of the late Stephen Nowicki and Renate V. Winckler Nowicki, was a native of Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. He traveled extensively, living in various places in the United States and abroad, and moved to Dothan in 2008. Mr. Nowicki was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked as a Captain on a Merchant Marine Ship. He will always be remembered for his zest for life and being a vibrant, independent person.

            Surviving relatives include his beloved wife, Donna Brackin Nowicki, Slocomb; three daughters, Erica Brackin, Alanna Carr (Zack), and Olivia Brackin; his sister, Marie Reeves and brother-in-law, Jesse Reeves; nephews, Calvin Reeves and Ken Reeves; several other relatives and many friends.
