Mr. Millard Cecil Snell of Slocomb passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at SAMC.  He was 89.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Chorn and Rev. Phil Baxley officiating.  Burial will follow in Whitaker United Methodist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 until service time. 

Mr. Snell was born on August 27, 1922 in Geneva County, AL to the late Mack and Dovie Vickers Snell.  He was a member of Noma Assembly of God Church.  

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Eunice Snell of Slocomb; one daughter:  Bettie Bush (Leroy) of Slocomb; one son:  Cecil Snell (Judy) of Newnon, GA; four grandchildren:  Susan Warren (Parks),  David Bush (Michelle), Chris Bush (Christy), Ron Snell (Kim); 10 great grandchildren:  Steven, Sarah, Carter, Ben, Lanie, Caitlan, Magen (Grant), Annamarie, J. P., and Mack; one great great grandchild:  Evan; several nieces and nephews.
