Obituary: Mr. Perry Eugene Sanders

 

Mr. Perry Eugene Sanders of Wicksburg passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at his home. He was 70. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 5:00 p.m. and continuing until service time. 

The family request that flowers be omitted. 

Mr. Sanders was born November 19, 1953 in Houston County to the late Perry and Etha Mae Sellers Sanders. Eugene was a well know mechanic and the owner of Sanders Gun Shop. He enjoyed playing cards in his spare time. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Judy Sanders; daughter, Regina Sanders; sons: Michael Culver (Donna), and Hank Culver (Ranae); sister, Ann Thomley; other extended family and friends.
