Mr. Phillip Rex Starling, age 71, of Kinsey, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021.

Rex was born June 30, 1949 in Houston County to the late Archie Starling and Tinnie Hamm Forehand. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp and enjoyed fishing and watching Alabama football in his spare time. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by his son, Scott Starling and his brother, Bruce Forehand.

Rex is survived by his daughter, Celina Starling (Jamey Watkins); his brothers, Kenneth Starling (Debbie) and David Forehand; his grandchildren, Olivia Scott Watkins, Luke Watkins, and Tyler Watkins; other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends from 4:30 - 5:30 PM, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
