Raymond Donald Bell, Sr., a resident of Slocomb, Alabama, died March 16, 2017 at Flowers Hospital. He was 71.

 

Mr. Bell served his county in the United States Army in the 101^st Airborne Unit in the Vietnam War.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Frank Bell and Bonnie Katherine Knight Bell; a brother, J.C. Bell; and a sister, Geraldine Savage

 

Survivors include sons, Raymond Bell, Jr., Robert (Suzanne) Sherman, and James (Keyesta) Sherman; a daughter, Lisa (Robert) Clements; a sister, Bettye Nazareno; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

 

Mr. Bell was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and will be truly missed.
