Mr. Richard A. Winborn, Sr. of Geneva, Alabama went to his heavenly home on April 09, 2023. He was 68.

 A private memorial service with family and friends will be held at a later date.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Research in his memory.

 Mr. Rick was born on June 15, 1954 in Winter Haven, FL to the late Wilburn Lewis and Betty Margaret Muzzuto Winborn. On March 30, 1974, he married the love of his life, Bonnie Hobbs. In 1977, he began his working career at Fleming Foods in Geneva, AL working on the docks. In the early 1980’s, he advanced his career by obtaining his CDL. He loved the open road and worked for 30 years before retiring in 2013. Rick was a man who will be fondly remembered as loving and caring for his family and friends.

 In addition to his parents, Buck and Betty Winborn, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Newby and a sister-in-law, Shirley Adkison.

 Mr. Rick is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Bonnie Winborn of Geneva, AL; two sons, Rick Winborn, Jr. of Gaskin, FL and Michael Winborn (Michelle) of Hartford, AL; two brothers, Thomas and Wayne Winborn of Auburndale, FL; one sister, Kathy Hightower (Joe) of Lakeland, FL; brother-in-law, J.C. Adkison of Darlington, FL; a number of special nieces, nephews and cousins.
