Robert R. Boyett, a resident of Cottonwood, Alabama died Monday, January 30, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 72.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Liberty Baptist Church in Pansey, Alabama. A visitation will be held from 5PM to 7PM, Thursday, February 2, 2023 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. The family will be at his residence 13900 Cottonwood Road, Cottonwood, Alabama.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Will Boyett and Dorothy Goodwin; a daughter, Glynisa Albriton; one brother, Willard Boyett; and one sister, Katie Williams.

Survivors include his son, Wayne Boyett (Lisa), Ashford, AL; a sister, Sarah Welch, Cottonwood, AL; four grandchildren, Lauren Boyett, Hattiesburg, MS, Hannah Boyett, Dothan, AL, Triston Albritton, Hartford, AL, and Amber Albritton, Hartford, AL; a very special aunt Mattie Folds; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Southern Care Hospice for their unwavering care for Robert during this difficult time.
